By downloading, installing, or using the app mobile application, or by using this website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the app. It is not intended for children.

The app is a nutrition diary and self-tracking application. It offers calorie and macronutrient goals, a food diary, packaged-food search and barcode lookup through Open Food Facts, nutrition-label capture on supported devices, custom foods, recipes, meal plans, shopping lists, water, weight, exercise and step tracking, insights, reminders, reports, and local backup and restore.

The app supplies general informational and self-tracking tools. It does not provide medical advice.

YVos grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own non-commercial purposes on devices you own or control.

• Enter accurate information if you want meaningful calculations.
• Keep your device, operating-system account, and exported files secure.
• Maintain your own backups of anything you wish to keep.
• Use the app in a way that is appropriate for your own health situation.

The app does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any condition, and it is not a medical device or a medical service.

• Consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant dietary, exercise, or health decisions.
• In an emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.
• Do not rely on the app for clinical decisions, including decisions related to pregnancy, eating disorders, diabetes, allergies, or medication.

Calorie targets, macronutrient values, exercise estimates, step counts, and trends are estimates produced by general formulas and third-party data. They may be inaccurate or unsuitable for your circumstances.

• Packaged-food information is community-contributed through Open Food Facts and may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate.
• Verify important nutrition, ingredient, and allergen information against the product packaging and professional advice.
• Open Food Facts database content is subject to the Open Database License and applicable attribution and share-alike terms.
• Online product search and barcode lookup require connectivity and the availability of the third-party service.

You keep ownership of the content you create in the app, including custom foods, photos, recipes, notes, and diary entries. Because this content is stored on your device, you are responsible for it.

• You are responsible for creating and safeguarding backups you wish to keep.
• Restoring a backup can replace your current local database after you confirm the action.
• Deleting the app, clearing app data, device failure, or device loss can permanently remove records that were not backed up.

You agree not to misuse the app, including by reverse engineering it except where permitted by law, interfering with its operation or with third-party services, attempting unauthorized access, or using it unlawfully.

The app name, logo, interface, and original content are owned by YVos or its licensors. Third-party content remains the property of its respective owners and is used under its own license.

Your download and use of the app is also subject to the terms of the app store you use, and platform components such as device text recognition are governed by the platform provider's terms.

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features or the app itself. Some features depend on device capabilities, operating-system versions, permissions, or third-party availability, and may change or become unavailable.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, arising from your use of the app.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the provider against claims arising from your unlawful or unauthorized use of the app.

If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect. Together with the Privacy Policy, these terms form the entire agreement about your use of the app.
